Chargers grinded out, defeat Fullerton in 5 sets
Cypress, CA - The Chargers won a tight game and a much needed conference game to stay in the race. The 4th set, the Hornets looked more determined and beat the Chargers 25-20 and forced the decisive 5th set. The Chargers regrouped and pulled out a 15-12 to gain their 4th conference victories. Chargers' plan to upset #2 OCC fell short
Cypress, CA - The Chargers' game plan to upset second ranked Orange Coast Pirates came close. After leading in both the first and second set, the Chargers fell 26-28 and 21-25 with a gutsy effort. The Chargers' momentum went flat in the 3rd set and lost 16-25. The Pirates proved why they were the #2 team in the State as they executed well when they were backed into a corner. For the Chargers it was a good sign of staying with a good team until the end.
